Stage 01 · Brief
Resolution, format, coordinate system, intended use. The deliverable shape determines the flight grid before the rig ever leaves the office.
Stage 02 · Scout
Flight density is pre-computed against ground sample distance — typically 2–4mm GSD for structures, 8–15mm for terrain.
Stage 03 · Fly
Primary capture is automated grid; manual pilot adds verticals, undercuts, and detail passes that the grid misses.
Stage 04 · Process
Processing goes to the engine your downstream pipeline prefers; default is RealityCapture for mesh + textures, NerfStudio or Postshot for splats.
Stage 05 · Deliver
Delivered as a pipeline-ready bundle. Re-meshing, retopology, and game-engine optimisation are quoted separately.

Accuracy depends on the flight plan, your GCPs, and the engine you choose. For survey-grade outputs ground control gets coordinated with your team — typical spec is `[confirm]`. Survey-grade isn’t promised without a contracted surveyor on site.
Mesh if it’s going into CAD, BIM, or simulation. Splat if it’s going into a viewer, a film comp, or anything that needs photorealism without geometry. Some sites get both.
Yes — delivery comes in UTM, State Plane, or your local grid. With ground control or a rented RTK base, captures arrive geolocated and ready to drop into your existing site model.
Yes. Subsequent captures register to the first using shared GCPs, so your monthly/quarterly captures land in the same coordinate frame for diffing.
