Log · Film Nº 01

Made the way a film gets made. Rendered instead of shot.

RAIN is a wordless allegory for a storage idea — Redundant Array of Independent Nodes — commissioned to front the project’s public site. Bison at first light, a town that lights up node by node, a storm that puts the fires out. Not a single frame was photographed. Every one of them was directed.

That is the point of the line. The tools changed; the discipline didn’t. A treatment, a place bible, a locked shot script, keyframes graded before anything moves, one shot re-rolled until the camera does what the script says. Then a 4K conform on our own GPU plant and a proper mix. It took weeks, not an afternoon, and the film is better for every one of them.

Have a story that needs a screen?

Send us the shape of it — a script, a deck, a paragraph. We’ll come back inside two business days with a treatment direction, a shot count, and a number. Aerial plates can be cut in; it’s the same studio.
